Women's Events

Come and join us at Sydney Motorsport Park (SMSP) on International Women’s Day (Sunday 8th March 2026) as a celebration of Women in Motorcycling for a fun, pressure-free and inclusive day of riding!

There will be a range of activities on the day, ranging from “Try It On” sessions for first timers to the track, through to full track sessions for experienced track riders and racers…plus everything in between. During the lunch break, we have curated a panel of various motorcycling identities from all walks of life to discuss all things Women In Motorcycling.

For those looking to come and try a track session, the ‘Try It On’ sessions are for you! There will be two groups – a morning Try It On and an afternoon Try It On – where both groups will get two full sessions on track. These are aimed at introducing you to the track environment for the very first time!

“Try It On”

Ever thought about taking your riding to the next level but not taken the plunge yet? Perhaps the usual crowds feel that attend racetrack events are a bit much, but you’re still wondering what it’s like to be let loose on one of the best stretches of road you’ll ever come across without any distractions or hidden dangers?

If you like riding motorcycles, it doesn’t get any better than getting the chance to ride in a controlled environment with like-minded people and a tonne of awesome ladies! These sessions are designed to take away the fear and apprehension that riders first time to the track may experience. Guided by experienced riders and coaches, you will be navigated through the entire process of getting you on track for the very first time. This will include a discussion about on-track etiquette, appropriate riding gear and scrutineering the safety elements of your motorcycle.

A lead rider will take you out on the circuit, controlling the speed of the group (to a maximum of 100 km/h) and another of our staff will follow to ensure that everyone is kept safe and is enjoying the experience. After your session we’ll debrief and answer any questions you may have.

Not your first time but don’t think you’re quite ready for a normal riding session on track? No problem! You’re welcome to join in the Try It On sessions.

Each group (AM & PM) will get 2 x dedicated sessions, including discussions and debriefs with coaches before and after each session.

Riding Sessions

As per any MEGA Ride Day, we’ll break the remaining track riders down into groups so that each and every rider is surrounded by those of a similar speed and/or skill.

There will be three groups on the day…

  • White/Beginner – this group is for relatively new riders to the track and/or those that want to run at a slower pace. Just about any bike is suitable for this group, but if you’re not sure, reach out to one of our friendly Customer Service team.
  • Yellow/Intermediate – this group is for those that are either quicker road riders and/or those that have some track experience. Open to bikes and riders that are a few steps above the White Group, but maybe not yet fully dedicated track riders.
  • Red/Experienced – this group is for experienced track and faster riders. Sport bikes would be considered the best fit for this group.

Each group will be allocated 5 x riding sessions on the day.

Groups will be monitored via our tracking system, and riders who would be better suited to a different riding group may be shifted up or down depending on the relative speeds/skills on the day.

Standard racetrack riding gear - including full leathers - are required for these sessions.

Cost - $295

Support and education to ensure each participant’s comfort and enjoyment will be offered on the various elements of riding motorcycles on racetracks, including basic track etiquette and safety of both bike and rider.

This event is designed to celebrate and empower women in motorcycling. There will be some male staff in attendance to fill various roles, and all guests are welcome to spectate, support or pit-crew for the day!
